   Listening to interview again I enjoyed this little exchange between them regarding if Alderson knew about the players taking steroids.

   Francesa: “People have asked many times whether you and LaRussa knew? Your here now I can ask you if you knew and you told me you don’t know. So I take you at your word.”

   Alderson: “Well, this topic hasn’t come up in a long time but if you go back and look at my testimony in front of Congress and other places you know, nothings really changed over time.”

   Alderson translation: Dude if you did your homework you will see that I have said time and time again that I didn’t know so quit with the B.S. cause you already know the answer to that question and I am too smart to fall for your weak ass AHA Gotcha moment.

      Alderson was prepared for that line of questioning, that’s for sure.
      I’ll give the NY media 2 points for not bringing it up during the press conference on Friday.

      Francessa admitted he didn’t know Alderson at all. So it will be a while before he’ll be able to ping on his weak spot, if any.

      I think round 1 went to Alderson.
