I can’t help feeling bad for Sandy right now. He was probably looking forward to these meetings as the brandy-new GM of the Mets. Has to be bittersweet for him now.
I don’t think I even knew much about the winter meetings, let alone the GM meetings much before a few years ago. Now with technology being what it is, there’s so much information out there on all this it’s almost like being there.
Agreed. A time that most likely used to be a relaxed time of fellowship for the GM’s (a little what happens at the GM meetings, stays…) but now with reporters and bloggers everywhere and fans expecting action I am sure it has turned into a more stressful affair.
