only seems to be discussing banning twits during the game and pre/post. Hard to argue with that. And they fired Morgan and Miller already, so a start in the right direction for removing twits.
I like the extra WC team idea, but I wonder why they are trying to rush something through for 1 year, when the CBA is up after next season.
If they do make that change, I hope they reconfigure the divisions (and go to fewer ones). But that is a bigger change.
2 divisions in each league, top teams are division winners, 2nd place teams are wild cards? Or would wild cards still be based on record (so there could be 2 wild cards from 1 division, 0 from the other)?
something like that. I do like the 2 division idea, since having such small divisions is silly.
heck, you could go without divisions if you want, but that is probably too extreme.
2 divisions with the winners getting byes seems like a nice reward. 4 WC teams playing 5 game series maybe.
I think taking the next best 2 from each division should be decently equitable, but you certainly could just take the next best 4. TV might not like that, since it could freeze out 1/2 the country!
Banning twitter and facebook? I don’t use either one so really can’t relate but what difference does it make – what advantage is it to ban those? Are they afraid someone is giving away company secrets?
And it’s about time they do something about the draft, picks etc.

OK seriously, a twitter and facebook ban?

If it’s only *during* games, I’m fine with it – it sounds like that’s the direction they’re heading.
But if it’s a complete ban, I’m totally against it.
The NY Rangers banned their players from having twitter accounts, and I know some of the players were *not* happy (based on their final tweets).

So what are you thinking?

Another WC playoff? Interesting….
Getting rid of the rally towels? Gets my vote.
