Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. I thought if you was here hoping for some Mets news only to find there is none. You might at least enjoy watching this classic “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” until something more substantial regarding the Mets is reported.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. One of the things I am thankful for is the fine Met fan brothers and sisters sharing open debate on our favorite baseball team. LGM!!!
On aside, here’s how the Haz Family Thanksgiving started last night: Our refrigerator died at 10:15 at night when expecting 12 guests today. Oh joy and fun scrambling around that. As I put things in perspective to the distraught Mrs. Haz it was something like “hun, there are people out there who have it alot worse than us, we’re truly lucky, knock on wood, to be in a position to have what we have, this is by all measures a minor incoveinance”. It’s a very small step now a days from having a little something and a decent life to barely surviving and a day doesn’t go by that I don’t remind myself of that. On that note, let’s move on to the Winter Meetings and let the rebuilding continue.

It was a great Thanksgiving feast with my gf cooking up a storm (she’s an outstanding cook) and we were visited by her daughters and grand-kids. My birthday was Tuesday (68th) and we celebrated it today. I hope everyone, similarly, had a great Thanksgiving.
