Not really telling us Met fans anything new here.

I almost wish Sandy would make some deal completely out of LF just so we had something new to discuss.

When do pitchers and catchers report? Don’t know what’s worse: waiting for ST to start or shoveling all this damn snow so far this winter….

      It’s it’s Ed Coleman!

      Ed Coleman!

All he has to say is “Hi again everybody and welcome to Mets baseball 2011″ and I am hooked.

      - LoL

someone over at MMO asked a good question. If they do sign young now, who gets DFA’d to get him on the 40 man roster.

I figured Hernandez, but there is a chance that they could throw the blogsphere a bone (of hits) and and do ollie or slappy!

I kind of infered the other day that this would be when they bite the bullet and cut either Ollie or Luis. Most likely being Luis.

Secondary effect is to throw red meat to the masses before spring training.

I saw that and replied something to the effect of why do they have to DFA anyone? Can’t they just move Santana to the 60 day DL for now? Not like he’s coming back anytime soon. After 60 days, I’m sure we’ll have a pitcher or two that was signed for the ST and/or BP who didn’t work out, was not effective b/c of lingering injury, etc. type of thing….

And here’s hoping Ollie P and Castillo are already cut from the roster.

I am not sure of the rule, but someone said that you can’t use the DL until the season starts, so can’t hide him there yet.

            Well dang….
