watching actually met BB. Things are looking up!
just listening to the interview with Young. Very encouraging.
talked quite a bit about the difference this year having finished last year healthy. Makes a big, big difference being able to do normal workouts vs. trying to rehab. Supposedly has vastly better stuff this ST vs. last (per him, Kevin B. and that new catcher that was with SD yesterday).
I think this was an overlooked point about signing young and capuano vs. guys like Webb. Sure they are all injury concerns to some degree (not that every pitcher isn’t, just ask the Cards), but you start ahead of the game having that year of rehab out of the way.

sure it’s early, but so far looks like the Mets have some HR power!
now just need to see someone that will actually play hit one!
If Harris keeps doing this though, I will stop being grumpy about him being on the bench this year.

So I watched some this afternoon but I’m watching the replay and I missed this one from Gary before Sandy joined the broadcast going into the break: “And joining us in a momen Sandy Martinez”. lol, spring training for the booth too. It was after Fernando hit his dinger so he obviously had Martinez on the brain.
