they didn’t have the personnel in the bull pen either.

actually, they had enough, but they gave away a few killer games, and the wheels came off of Willie while that team we shall not mention got lucky as hell.

      no, not still bitter.

Oh man my bad Kingy. But I assume you knew what i meant or at least I hope you did.

I wasn’t monitoring the comments or else I would have fixed it when i saw your comment but now it’s too late to really bother. Please do me a favor and feel free to jump in and correct it in the future I would most appreciate it.

With not having had a chance to listen to the clip I would think that was more the case in 08. The pen was shot in ’08 and there wasn’t a lot of depth. For ’07 you dont lose what a 7 game lead and 17 to play with those kind of issues? I don’t see it. I see a team that was gliding along and didn’t know how to come together when the time mattered.

In ’08 they did not have the pieces to win.

I would agree with this analysis.

Um, 7 1/2 game lead with 17 games to go? And end up in 2nd? If that’s not a collapse, I don’t know what would be.

I remember that team looking so defeated in Sep. It’s almost like they were thinking: ‘so how are we gonna lose tonight’? – or something to that effect. In fact, I think LoDuca said as much after it was over.

The clip when Peterson was talking was a little hard for me to understand most of the time. It played garbled for me.

Peterson is full of crap, when it comes to Ollie. ‘I watched him changing his delivery all the time after I left’. After he left? Bull, he was doing that when Peterson was there. I distinctly remember them showing shots of Peterson shaking his head in the dugout when Perez would let one or two go side armed.
