Something I’ve been harping on for a while. I didn’t know about the buyout option though, that would make it easier.
They should all just move to the west coast. as much as I love Port St. Lucie and the community it creates, moving would be best for the team. They need to be closer to the American league teams. If they could move towards Tampa they could play the Rays and the Tigers and the Yankees more, rather than have nearly 30 games against the Marlins in one season.

Cactus league is silly, although I guess it’s not really that big a deal to fly from Arizona to NY instead of Florida.

or they could just suck it up and do more 2 hour rides on the bus.
they probably don’t even need as many games against other teams to get ready. Good for the fans, but they could probably get just as prepared doing nothing but scrimmages.
