Pitcher & Hitter:
Got lucky on this photo that had my MUA’s both in it. David Wright answered back from the 0-fer on opening day with a 3-5 day last night, including his first homer and the go ahead RBI in the 10th. According to Metsblog, Wright hit his 89th game winning RBI, tying him with Mike Piazza for the most in Mets history. Blaine Boyer gets the MUA for nailing down a comeback win that hopefully will be the Mets calling card this season.
Honorable Mentions:
Willie (McGritty) Harris strikes again with an insurance RBI double in the 10th
Jose Reyes sparked the comeback with his first hit of the season
Jon Niese (in a Pedro Martinez voice) “did his job” and only allowed 2 runs over 7 innings
Ike Davis had a good night, 2-3 with an RBI
Bobby Parnell coming in the 8th and throwing up a 0 with 2k’s

The first of what I hope will be many, many MUA posts.
Nice….
Wright tied Piazza with that 89th game winning RBI last night. Even better.
Although I have to say the pic tagged to the post is disturbing. Just want to tell biceps arnie that is well, yuck.
