I’m off to Citi Field to cover Terry Collins pre game press conference, as well as to attend on field batting practice and the game ( weather permitting) . I will post to highlights of Terry’s talk with the media, as well as publish pictures ( if my I Phone can handle it ).

Mets alumni celebrating a birthday today include:
Mets catcher/outfielder from ’64-’66, Johnny Stephenson is 70 (1941). John is most commonly remembered for making the final out during Jim Bunning’s perfect game at Shea Stadium on Mothers Day of 1964.
Mets middle reliever from the ’08 season, Ricardo Rincon is 42 (1970) .
Mo Vaughn is wondering if he is more popular than the Wilpons.

I had been thinking about going up for tomorrows day game, but the schedule did not end up allowing it. Too bad, since it was a 2 few!
