does it count as being the same when they didn’t actually play the game yesterday?
bay being out for the foreseeable future is really screwing things up. To bad no one stepped up (yes, I am looking at you Duda) to grab the job.
I also think we are going to see a lot more of Murphy, if he does any kind of hitting now.

Me too on Murphy. And I like him hitting in the 2 spot. He makes contact.
Bay being out does throw a wrench in there, but the way Pagan is hitting, dropping him to 7th seems logical when bay comes back. If he starts hitting, then yeah, the 2 spot looks good for him. But until then, 6th, then 7th when Bay comes back makes sense to me.

Don’t worry Stick, I am sure Duda has at least a fighting chance to play every day in AAA.
And do not fret—Bay still gets his 100 grand a game.
Hmmm, I wonder if showing up early to camp after doing jack squat for six months seems like it would have been a good idea right about now?? Nahh, Bay’s a pro; he knows what he needs to do to be ready.
By May or June….maybe…

And no chance to check in on an unload trade of Bay to the Texas Rangers as they may be looking for an outfield replacement with Josh Hamilton out 2 months. That’s the first thing I thought of when I heard of the Bay setback yesterday.

Agreed about Bay. Just keeping my fingers crossed we see him come May.

What is it going to take for this poor kid to stay healthy?

well crap. This better be real minor and precautionary, otherwise I am done with him too. And I have been his biggest supporter so far.
though to be fair, playing games this time of year in Buffalo is a recipe for pulling muscles!
