Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork reports the following:
- Parnell will be placed on the DL with a circulatory problem of the middle finger.
- Jason Bay will be activated Thursday.
- Chris Young plans to throw Thursday. He will test his arm/shoulder in a simulated game .
Chris Young (biceps tendinitis) plans to resume throwing and will test his arm/shoulder with a simulated game Thursday.

Also MLB just took control of the Dodgers. I really don’t know if I want to see that happen with the Mets or not.

The Mets technically have not placed Bobby Parnell on the DL yet, they now say. So they’re playing with 25, using 24 tonight.
