I know I have been keeping a positive attitude regarding the recent failing’s of these current Mets team. I do feel this is a good team that is being plauged by shoddy defense, anemic offense and a dose of bad luck.
But even I can’t defend last night loss to the Houston Astros. I mean only could this Mets offense make Wandy Rodriguez look like the second coming of Felix Hernandez ! The team seems like it is playing real tense, and folds as soon as the opposition scores more than two runs. I am starting to get worried because it already seems like this clubs chemistry is starting to show cracks – and the last thing we need is a full blown implosion.
But I am a Met fan, and I am used to disruption as well as disorder when it comes to my team.
So here is the list of the Top 10 Songs That Describe The Mets Season So Far !!
10. Disorder and Disarray – by Rancid
09. Why Is It Always This Way - byThe Ramones
08 . Losfer Words ( Big ‘Orra) – by Iron Maiden
07. Nothing ever goes as planned - by Styx
06. Missed Again - by Phil Collins ( dedicated to Scott Hairston)
05. Born To Lose - by Motorhead
04. Here’s To The Losers - by Warrior Soul
03. Show Don’t Tell – by Rush
02. Lost Again – by Suicidal Tendencies
And at number one on the hit list - HELP !!!! – by The Beatles !!
If there are songs that you think are more deserving than the ones that I have listed above, please feel free to make them known in the comments section below .
And with that said…. HERE COMES THE INFAMY !!!!

One of the better Japanese players to ever wear the Mets pinstripes, Masato Yoshii is 46 (1965).
Emergency starter from the ’03 season, Jason Roach is 35 (1976). His last name is kind of apropos for 4-20.

Last night was a big ol pile of poop. 2nd base defense was bush league. Hu pinch hitting was demoralizing. Eff it whats the point of re-hashing it…

One of my favorite songs, “Here’s That Rainy Day,” music by Jimmy Van Heusen and lyrics by Johnny Burke. My favorite performance of the song was by the late, great, Laurindo Almeida.
