   I have to ask…..reading a post on FWICG.com, MC has this to say:

   ‘However, right now, the worry I have is, will these guys all click at the same time. Jose Reyes is relying on a lot of luck, while not walking at all.’

   Yeah, I think Jose has like 2 walks. However, do you all agree his hits have been more the product of luck and not talent?

   Question was:
   Will the Mets have a fire sale this July?

   Tim answers:
   This seems highly likely to me. The Mets are equipped to save a lot of money with midseason trades, and I think they will lean more toward that than on maximizing the return.

   I won’t dispute a fire sale in July. However, are they really that broke that Alderson would start dumping salaries strictly for that reason and not maximizing the return? If so, this is really going to be some crappy years coming up. If they’re going to start trading stars, they absolutely have to get as many good prospects back – even some top ones – as possible.

   Continued reading over on MLBTR, I see Selig has stepped in and took control of the Dodgers.

   ‘Selig “will appoint a representative to oversee all aspects of the business and the day-to-day operations of the Dodgers.”

   One poster commented:

   I laughed right out loud.

   And too bad they’re in the position they’re in as well as us. I really like to see Kershaw in a Met uniform.
