A couple things from the article stand out. First, he’s throwing harder than he did when he was drafted at age 21. That’s awesome. Second, his slider is a plus-pitch for him. There’s nothing wrong with a lefty that has a plus slider.
Gorski has always had a great strikeout/walk ratio, but this is the first year his strikeout/innings pitched ratio has been above 1. He’s split time between starting and relieving, but eventually he should end up in the bullpen. A fastball & slider lefty that misses a lot of bats has a real chance to find himself in a major league bullpen one day, even if its just as a LOOGY. Gorski is definitely a guy to keep an eye on, among others capable of fulfilling a similar bullpen role someday.

Kudos to this site for keeping us up to date on potential prospects down on the farm. Gives us some hope for the future.
