Here’s hoping Niese and the offense can salvage one game in this series.

Talk about shaking things up a bit. 2nd basemen and no one at 3rd?
I mean how hard is it to get a lineup right anyway?

maybe to save confusion they are just going to play the entire game in the Howard shift?

I don’t think so b/c apparently Uncle Cholly is resting both Utely and Howard today.
Talk abut ‘no fear’ of the Mets, huh?

Nice to see the offense for a change but Holy Crap Batman, this BP has been just awful all week. 28 earned runs? Something has to be done.
If we didn’t already have 9 runs, I’d be afraid of how that one could have ended.

Dang. I thought Beltran was replaced by Pridie late in the game b/c we were up by 7 runs at that point. Come to find out on the post game he experienced ‘hamstring tightness’ since the 2nd inning. Said he could play through it but TC didn’t see any need to push it.
