Not sure if it’s possible, but can we see what the ranking might be after April 17th (lowest point of the season). I believe the Mets are 25-20 since then.

24–18 since the 5-13 start.

Kistics I won’t be doing a post at this time but whenever you want to see the Mets record since that low point you can do so by going to this url.

This is great! I love B-R.com.. it’s the greatest website since google.
Mets have better win % than the Phillies and trail the Bravos by only one game!!

I do find it interesting that the Mets identified OBP as an issue and it is no longer an issue.

If I’m reading this correctly the Mets are 3rd in OBP so….I should say not.
Wonder what it would be these past few weeks if we actually had Ike and Wright in the lineup?

probably not better, since turner and murphy have been on a lot, and wright has not been the same type of OBP guy for a while.

# 1 in the division in all 3 hitting catagories. And 6th in the league (behind 5 teams in what are considered to be hitters parks) in runs per game, the most meaningful catagory!
Yeah, I think the problem might be the pitching.
and for the most part, the pen. Take back even a handful of those brutal pen meltdown losses (8 with leads after the 6th), and they are right there in the WC hunt.
not sure if the Mets are playing over their heads with a depleted squad, or the rest of the NL isn’t quite as good as many think!

Shocking to see Phi and Atl atop the pitching rankings. Mets will not compete until they are there.
