Tejada in the 8 spot… I just don’t get it.
Reyes, Tejada, Beltran, Murph, Turner, Pagan, Bay, Paulino or some mix up of the 4-8 spots. I’d like to see how Tejada can handle that spot for several games.

Tejada is the weakest bat on the team, therefore he bats 8th.
Paulino also needs to be the almost everyday catcher. He’s better in almost every aspect…

Maybe this has something to do with Tejada batting 8th.
Tejada last 5 games 1/H 19/AB .053/BA

you always have small windows like this that are good or badd. Often if you change it to 12, 15, whatever it looks much different. Especially if the 10 before this 10 they hit .400!

I wonder if Beltran will remain at #3 spot once Wright comes back.

I could live with beltran/ike/Dw 3-5. Of course, that assumes Beltran is still on the team when (OK, if, especially for Ike) they come back!

I thought both Ike and Wright were to be evaluated by today. Now I’m reading next week.
I’m really hoping Wright is given the green light to resume rehab and baseball activities. Hard to predict b/c I have no idea how bad that fracture was.
I’m reading Ike is still wearing a boot. Wonder if that’s b/c that’s because he was told to more than he’s still feeling pain when walking.
Point is we could really use these two back in the lineup sooner rather than later. It’s going to be a long summer if Beltran is traded next month (and god forbid Reyes) and neither one of them are back.
