Glad to see Big Pelf getting on track as we head into the summer. Complete game and no walks in his last three starts.
Has Beltran’s HR come down yet?
Speaking of HRs, if we’re not going to hit many, the other 4 runs tonight are of the variety that is necessary to win ball games.
And how did I miss this:
‘Last time the Angels faced the Mets, Willie Randolph was shitcanned on the road in Anaheim mid-series and replaced by Jerry Manuel.’

Oh what bad memories of that night. All the talk from the Mets beat writers and papers of the Mets firing Willie at 3am, when in reality it was around midnight and not long after the game had ended.
