It is with RDM’s deepest condolences that we sadly announce the loss of Willie Harris and his wife’s unborn child. Harris’ wife went into labor only five months into the pregnancy, and the baby tragically did not survive.
I have no idea what it’s like to lose a child, but I can only imagine the complete and utter devastation associated with such an event. While it may not be in the best interest of the team, Harris deserves to take as much time off as he needs to cope with this incident. I wish him, his wife, and the rest of their family the best of luck in recovering from such unimaginable circumstances.

as much as we treat the players as pieces in a game, they still are real people with real tragedies. This was pretty far along for it to happen too.
certainly take the time to deal with this (and that would go for anyone, not just a spare part)

I have 2 little ones myself and I could not imagine what Harris is going through right now. But I believe we need to all respect his personal space leave him and his family alone for now. I wish the beat writers would stop tweet these kinds of stuff.
