vintage bad Pelf game. I seriously think at this point they should go with a 6 man rotation of sorts, and only let Pelf pitch at home. Terrible on the road.

and he needs to either get a clue abou mixing pitches up and keeping hitters off ballance, or only pitch to a catcher that does. ne at, per gameday, 11 pitches. 10 sinkers, 1 4 seamer, and about 7 straight fouls.

You were correct on your prediction of 4-2 on the road trip. I hope you’re as successful in the stock market. I concur that Pelfrey should only throw to a veteran catcher as Pelfrey seems to know very little about the art of pitching.

BTW the Yankees basically toyed with Brewers as if they were a little league team. They’re doing it with a depleted pitching staff so when they get healthy they could be unbeatable. The Mets may be running into a buzz saw this weekend but at least CC won’t face them.

This game was winnable, even though it was Verlander.
We had opportunities but Reyes caught stealing, Duda thrown out at the plate and a few others squashed them.

And Pelf is just so frustrating to watch. Only way he was getting strikes today where the foul balls they kept getting off him. Like Thole well enough but he just cannot be behind the dish when Pelfrey pitches. It’s the blind leading the blind out there.
