I maintain they can finish over .500 I’ll go 84-78

My only prediction at the beginning of the season was that they would finish better than last year – even if only by a game.
And given how this season has gone, injuries and all, it might just be one game. I’m thinking right now they win 85 games, tops.

OT, but just saw the update on Ike. Damn disappointing but not surprising.
I just don’t see how a cortisone shot is going to help much. I know ligament and tendon damage sometimes take far longer than a broken bone to heal. I’m thinking if it doesn’t take a turn for the better here shortly, he’s definitely looking at surgery.
