    Here’s a question. Would the Mets be better off battling for a top draft choice rather than maintaining a .500 record in a furious fight for 3rd place with the Nats?

      Never ever try to lose.  They should try as hard as they can with what they have and let what happen happen.  They are not going to be bad enough to get a top 2 pick and after that the #7 pick may be just as good as the 15.
