If anyone can make it back from this type of shoulder surgery, it’ll be Johan.
I’d like to see him make at least a handful of starts before the end of the year. By the looks of things, we’ll be mathematically eliminated by then so there should be no added pressure of starting a questionable Johan and needing to win the game.

well, if this really kind of is his beginning to ST, I suppose it is possible he is back before the end of the year.
hopefully they take it very slow, and just give him no more than 3-4 September starts (on pitch counts) as a “proof of concept”.
if he can be back next year, pitching relatively normally (# of innings, and stuff wise) it will be a great boost to the teams fortunes.
