        Well Happy Early Birthday!

Here’s hoping they win tonight in your honor – and tomorrow and on the 28th.

:-) At 1st I was wondering what you meant by “gained 4 days this week” Then I realized what you meant. :-)

The good news is it took 4 hrs before anyone noticed.

The bad news is it took 4 hrs before anyone noticed.

I guess the Reds check cleared in the HP Umps account.  What the hell with the call on Pridie and the strike 3 on Niese the catcher caught on the shoestrings.

I don’t want to jinx Murphy but I  have to wonder what dear Sylow thinks of Murphy right now.

I always think the same thing whenever Murphy does something good (which is quite often these days!)

Ah, Murph, if we only had a long term position for you…

2B might still be it.  He looks no worse there than Uggla did when he first started playing there. Havens can’t stay healthy so it’s still Murphy’s for now.

Yeah, I’d say that’s about right.

I agree.  Assuming Ike comes back, and Reyes never leaves,  they will have plenty of gloves on the IF.  And he has looked acceptable at the position (earlier when he was getting time there) so I got no problem letting him roll for a while.

Also about to give up on my other boy Havens.  Kid really needs to stay on the field raking for an extended period, because he seems to have the goods.

but for next year, certainly could be Murphy.
