Coming into today Justin Turner and Lucas Duda are 3rd & 4th among NL Rookies in RBI’s. MLB defines a rookie as follows.
A player shall be considered a rookie unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues; or (b) accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the period of 25-player limit (excluding time in the military service and time on the disabled list).

Nice season for Turner and Duda. Although I have to say, I see Duda as the more legitimate hitter. I’m not sure I even see Turner as an everyday player.

Sticking this here since I don’t blame y’all for not post game wrap up…..
Offense has never been the main problem, even with the injuries. Hats off to Evans and Bay.
Pitching on the other hand, has been almost painful.
-Gee giving up a 3R HR to a rookie pitcher in his first at bat on the first pitch.
-Kudos to Acosta who has been pretty good since mid/end of June.
-Parnell has no clue, period. He really wasn’t getting it done in the 8th so not sure why anyone would expect any different in the 9th. Listening to his post game interview just had me shaking my head.
I have no idea where Sandy is going to get the SP and BP arms needed for next year.
