In case you missed it, here are a couple of pictures of the Mets’ annual rookie hazing flight from Justin Turner’s Twitter feed. I wonder if Joe Torre will crack down on the Mets for using unlicensed cheerleader outfits?

These pictures are dreadful!
The real story from this is the twitter flame war between some loser, Chris Schwinden and Justin Turner last night.
A random guy was calling them out for wearing dresses, saying they should focus on the game. Their first responses to him were fine, just telling him to back off etc. But after he kept nagging, Turner went off, “If you had any ability 2 play this game that ur sooo good at talkin sh*t about, u might have got a dress! Enjoy the games from the seats pal”
Hey Turner – ALL your fans are trying to enjoy the games from the seats; let’s not use that as an insult.

If MLB players are going to participate with fans on Twitter, I think the last thing they want to do is start talking ‘trash’ with them.
Then again, I just cannot imagine any MLB player wanting to open themselves up to the criticism we so often read and hear from the lunatic fringe.
