I mean really? I for one blame RDM author Rustyjr. It had to be that his tattoos had something to play here. 
Really though it probably had more to do with what Deadspin said “…this is about baseball trying to avoid their own Ines Sainz incident” Still it allowed me the chance to use the Mets Ring Girl graphic so there is that.
