That Beltran selfish tag always seemed unfair to me – even though he was honest enough to admit he signed with St. Louis in hopes to win a ring. I mean, isn’t that all ball players end goal?
On another note – yea!!! Fielder did not land on any team not named the Mets in the NL east. In fact, glad he signed with an AL team.
An all-time Mets great. Gotta love the quiet leaders that just go about their business being elite and not talking trash or being a loud mouth. It’s criminal how much negative energy there is in this fanbase toward him.
probably also enjoyed the 127 million dollars or so he made!
Great player, sadly, I don’t think he will have as big of an impact on the Cardinals as Pujols did. Then again, how many players are as talented as Pujols?
I fairness to Carlos, he isn’t a cyborg from the future that was sent back in time to destroy pitching staffs. Pujols is on another level.
