Read through this. Actually saw a Moe in depth one not too long ago on AA. Read thru that one too but it just made my head hurt.
Saw the wilpon’s filing that motion to have the case thrown out. Even it they win that (and they probably won’t), I still think it will be a couple of years before the Wilpons spend any money on this team, not unless revenues really soar this year. In fact, I believe them spending money depends on revenues more than anything else.
I think the negative slant on this story is a little over the top, but it certainly wouldn’t be a Rosen story had it been less negative. I truly hope whatever owner this team has is smart enough not to be where this team is now ever again. Even with the motion to have the Picard lawsuit thown out, it still looks pretty bleak and with the “robbing Peter to pay Paul” going on, at some point it is going to get them. Just a matter of time.
The smell of spring training around the corner has my spirits lifted, but the realities loom. D. Wright will be gone by the trade deadline this year. I even think Francisco will be as well. I optomisti
Stupid iPad. To finish my statement, I optimistically think one of Bay or Santana will actually be moved, but it’s going to be pennies on the dollar. I lean towards Santana, but time will tell.
The kids have me smiling, but unfortunately the waiting for them (aka, the kiddie cavalry) to get here is going to be the hardest part.
