Middle reliever from last season, Josh Stinson is 24 (1988) . Stinson was the Gulf Coast Mets Sterling Award winner in ’06, but he failed to impress as a late season call up last year. He pitched to a 0-2 record with a E.R.A of 6.92.
The New York Mets claimed spot starter/middle reliever, Fernando Nieve on waivers from the Houston Astros on March 14, 2009.Nieve spent two seasons with the Mets ( mostly as a middle reliever) and pitched to a 5-7 record with a 4.58 E.R.A .
Mo Vaughn has taken Kingsborough Kommunity Kollege to win the NCAA March Madness tournament !!!!!

I see today’s game is on ESPN? Hope that’s right.
Was looking forward to seeing Harvey pitched but reading now he’s being left behind and Niese is pitching. The reason? The Mets didn’t have the league ML minimum for the game. Man…do we really have that many injuries right now????
