Jon Star of MLB.com is reporting that according to a source Jonathon Niese has signed a 5 year $25M contract extension pending a physical.
The deal reportedly includes 2 options that could increase the value up to $52M.

Awesome contract, and both sides should be happy. If he stinks or gets super injured there is not much risk, for him he has a long term stability.
