    I really though they were gonna pull this one out. So close. Still having a problem getting runners home.

    This was winnable. Type of game that if they plan on having a winning record, they have to win.

      They should of at least tied it. Murph and Wright setup it up perfectly. All they needed was a pop fly. Bay couldn’t foul off a pitch and Duda looked extremely nervous.

    Reality check: if the Mets lose today they’re back to .500, and all the magic is gone.

    Eh, only Ceetar thought the offense would be good. So many people were penciling Ike and Duda in for 30/100. Silly.

    You don’t go from having a decent-to-middling offense to having a good one when you lose all-star players like Beltran and Reyes.

    What Wright and Kirk are doing is of course not sustainable, so if Ike and Duda don’t snap out of it, it’s going to be a tough year, and the rest of the division is all doing well.
