Thank you so much for posting this. It takes a lot of guts to admit what R.A. admitted in this interview, and in his book.
I remember living in Dallas in 2005, and watching him pitch for the Rangers when he was throwing “the thing.” I thought he was the worst pitcher in baseball, and said as much in my blog a year later. I am so happy to be wrong about him. I’m a fan of his as a pitcher, but more so as a human being.
