I think I deserve a medal for watching this entire game.

Only interesting mentions were Carson’s debut and Johnson 1-2-3 inning.

I don’t’ know what Niese’s problem is lately. That outing was just awful.

You know I read about the Jays and how they were getting hot offensively of late but jeeze they were “En Fuego!” tonight.

All I kept picturing was the conga line by the Gas-House Gorillas.

Pitching sucked from top to bottom well except for Rob Johnson who was the 2nd Mets pitcher tonight to make his Major League debut and the only one I believe to record a 1-2-3 inning with a K I might add.

Positive for me is Scott Hairston who hit a nice rope for a double to get us on the board when there was still hope of a comeback.

    Gee on the hill 2morrow.

    LGM!!!

glad I missed all but the very end. Though I didn’t have the broadcast up, so I missed Johnson pitching.

so, shake it off and move on. Something the mets have been good at this year.

though I will say, please make Acosta go away. Now. Just call up another ramirez, or one of the other couple of guys that are pitching well ( a live right arm) and try someone new. Can’t possibly be worse.

carson look OK? at least they didn’t score off him.

I only caught the first inning (thankfully) but I did hear Ron Darling talk about Niese’s curveball having a tendency to float and roll toward the plate, his cutter flattening out and Niese throwing 70% fastballs at the same velocity. If what Darling says is truly the case then what in tarnation is the Mets illustrious pitching coach Dan Warthen doing for a living?

A number of people here talk about the nonsense that goes on in the comments section of MMO. I have also noticed that since Joe D’s health issues have limited his involvement with the blog the quality of the articles has nosedived. I expect garbage in the comments section. Lord knows I contribute much of it myself at this blog. But it’s sad that so many of MMO’s articles contain pure drivel. Fortunately there’s always TRDM to turn to.
