This comes as no surprise, all 7 guys are very deserving. Vaughn has struggled a bit in May, but he still has 5 homers in both April and May. Forsythe has come out of nowhere and had a monster May. He slugged .700 in the month of May.
It could have been more too. Adrian Rosario was an obvious choice if he hadn’t been promoted to AA. Danny Muno could have been an all-star before his suspension. Darrell Ceciliani looked like an all-star early on before getting hurt. Erik Goeddel has all-star numbers but has made just 6 starts. They really could have had as many as 10 or 11 all-stars, which is no shock; they have the best record in baseball.
