And Johan Does the Unthinkable

Guys, as we wait for another author to arrive home and write about his personal experience, (he was at the game!), I thought I would share this personal moment with my family on TRDM!

Where were you when Johan Santana threw the first no hitter in team history???

LOL…Gonna be hard to top this game this season. Unless, of course we do the unthinkable and go all the way.

That was her first build a bear. She was so young the only thing she would call it was unhuh. Now she has about twenty different ones but still takes that one to all baseball games and has it when she watches games at home with me.

did anyone catch the RA Dickey interview. Probably should not have done that interview right next to the showers…

I just saw a little too much of an unnamed Mets player…

Someone does need to teach Ojeda the english language as his lead in right after the end of the game he said, “and tonight a night that will live in Met infamy…”
    oy.

    in·fa·my
    noun, plural in·fa·mies for 3.
    1. extremely bad reputation, public reproach, or strong condemnation as the result of a shameful, criminal, or outrageous act: a time that will live in infamy.

      and a new hair piece!

That and that phrase is not something our grandfathers generation takes lightly.

Exactly, I’m no master of the english language so I try not to throw stones from my glass house but man what a D’oh moment. My wife was like, “where’s Mazzilli, can we get Mazz back in that chair…”

Oleo: lol, that’s a running comment in our household too.

Oh, great picture of you and the little one. Adorable.

Is this the Banner Day winner? If so, congrats – great job. We were at Banner Day and your’s was the best hands down.

Although we did get a kick from the “we don’t stink as much as they think” banner.

TRS, echoing Kong, your daughter is adorable. But now I know why your Basketball teams excel. Your face is enough to scare even the strongest among us.

I was with my finance and she hates baseball and couldn’t understand my excitement. After Freese hit that dribbler that went foul I had this mental picture of Freese swinging and missing at a characteristic Santana pitch at the shoe tops and I turned to my finance and said he’s got it. But I had a similar feeling during Seaver’s game in 1969 and that didn’t work out so well. BTW I can mark most Mets highlights by whom I was married too at the time.

Thanks gate. Got to look for any angle lol.
