Not happy with the pick but what the hell do I know. Would of liked them to grab that Hawkins kid instead.

Sounds way more appealing than
His siwng is somewhat rotational with slight loft but not the kind that will produce big power; it’s not great bat speed but his hand-eye appears to be very strong,

I am kind of with you. of course the guys that are paid to do this, and whose jobs depend on him working out, must see something they like. But, from the various analysis, etc. we have access to, he would not have been my pick.
Is this Hawkins kid a big bat/no glove type? One thing that this FO seems to put a premium on in the draft is well rounded players!
I want to see Storer (the Duke SP) fall to them at 35.
