Yes it is, it’s a magic number.
Somewhere in the ancient, mystic trinity
You get three as a magic number.
If your as old as I am you pretty much know this song very well. What inspired this tune and what relevance does it have to the Mets? It’s the Mets magic number between a .935 winning pct and a .230 winning pct.
Despite the lack of offense at times this season and despite the pens struggles at times when the Mets have allowed 3 runs or less they have only lost twice so far this season. If you compare that winning pct to the 9 other teams that entering the morning of June 21st had an equal or better winning percentage to the Mets in the standing that ranks 2nd best among them.
When it involves our Mets,
Three is our magic number.

So… really good pitching helps win ballgames? I’ve learned something new today.

Nova, I tried St. Bernadus on fathers day. Like Chimay better. I may try a 3 philosopher’s soon enough.
I’m prob a reverse snob, but I prefer the Hops. floral, not sweet.

geez, I thought in Texas you just all drank Lone Star out of cans, and tossed the empties into the ped of your pick ‘em up truck?

Lone Star is a putrid as Iron City beer ex. Pittsburg.
Now Pabst tall boys… that’s been know to happen after mowing the lawn. And during.
And you throw ‘em in the back o’ the pickup because we are environmentally conscience and you can get a refund, which helps buy more!
