UPDATE: We have removed the old #realdirtymetsdugout chatroom and have switched over to a the new Mibbit only #RDMDugout Chatroom. If you have any connectivity issues let me know in this post and I’ll look into. The switch was done to have something more stable and hopefully Mibbit will accomplish this.
Things you may want to know if you are familiar with irc and wish to try and connect via another source other than Mibbit.

For the past few days we have been having issues with the RDM Dugout. It seems it has ceased to work for certain browsers and so far there has been no resolution as to why or how long this may be. In the meantime there has been temporary alternatives in the above dugout link on the menu bar.
Right now the attempt has been to find something that is compatible with most browsers and remains part of the irc network while loading fast and making these connection issues a thing of the past. Right now the attempt is to use Mibbit to accomplish this.
If you click on the dugout link that is part of the Meebo bar you should see the new Mibbit chat. If you don’t then clear your browser cache and reload the page. It should then appear.
It is only in the Meebo bar for now. If you want to use the temporary alternatives in the above dugout link on the menu bar they are still there until it is decided to stay with this new format.
One important note: The irc chatroom that was always used is called realdirtymetsdugout. The new mibbit chat that is now part of the Meebo bar is also a new IRC Chat room. It is called RDMDugout. So if your using an irc alternative to connect keep this in mind when looking for the room. As stated earlier the temporary alternatives in the above dugout link on the menu bar will have the old chatroom for the time being until it is decided to fully switch over or not.
