Well, watching this game was an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon.

Runs, HRs, good pitching, good defense.
Couldn’t ask for much more. Well done, boys.

    On to LA.

    just my luck.

I sit there watching the last 2 nights like a schmoe, and today when I am too busy with work to even check the score, they do this.

Apparently the slump was my fault. I will have to make alternate plans for this weekend I guess!

Now, this was more like it. Exactly what the team (and the fans) needed. Now, they must beat up on a wounded Dodgers team. 3 out of 4 is not out of the question against a lineup without Kemp and now Ethier. Dodgers have pitching, but if the Mets can scratch 3-4 runs per game, the Dodgers will have a tough time matching that. But it’s baseball, so anything can happen. Still, now is the time to get the Dodgers.

Looks like Either could hit the DL too.

Well, the Mets certainly showcased the best and worst of themselves in that series. At this point, every aspect of this team is so inconsistent from series to series, it’s really hard to know what to expect against LA. But that’s why baseball is the greatest game.

well, all the teams in the east won, so status queue.

except for the Phils. They lost. Ha.

too bad Utley took 1 AB to get as many HRs as it took Murphy about 350 Abs to get.
