Read earlier that Tejada was supposed to get a day off today but after going 4 for 5 last night, he’s back in there.
He’s been back like a week and he needs a day off already? IDK but he looks fully healed to me.

Not raising the white flag. They were talking for a while about trading Thome. He was not very good as a PH early, and just cannot play the field. So, he was limited to just a PH and the phils wanted someone with some flexibility.
and to do him a favor, to send him somewhere he could actually play.
