Dillon Gee will have surgery tomorrow on his right shoulder to replace a portion of damaged artery. The decision to have surgery follows a recommendation made earlier this week by Mets medical staff and doctors in New York and Dillon’s consultation today with Dr. Robert Thompson in St. Louis. Dr. Thompson, who has performed similar procedures on several professional baseball players, will perform the surgery.
