at least the force was with Wright today.

and good thing, because they really, really really had to have this win.

Rauch as the wookie. RA as Obi-wan… Wright as Skywalker. Bay as CP3O (circa the busted up CP3O in Empire Strikes back), Sandy as Yoda, Alderson as the Emperor, I guess FFF as Joba the Hut?…

Well, Sandy is going to have a hard time playing both parts but it certainly would give the movie an awful twist.

duh. silly me. meant Terry as Yoda.

Second annual? I must have missed the first one.

On that game this afternoon….good thing our offense came out to play early and often.

Once again defense spotty and holding-my-breath-in-the-ninth-save for the BP/Parnell.

Ronnie said the bench was calling each and every pitch there in the bottom of the 9th.

during desperate times, every win is a good one.

What character are you? Take the quiz:

I unfortuately am Luke Skywalker. Always found him a bit whiny. Maybe it was that Corvette Summer interlude that made me so. One place I worked I was referred to as “Darth…..fill in my last name”. So I took to humming the Star Wars theme as I walked down the hall.

      Yoda, I am.

lol, how come I find that incredibly appropriate some how.

So you think TRS is a short green know-it-all? ;)

          1. Hazmet

Good one. Think he is a Jedi Master I must for I Luke Skywalker am his pupiil. ;)

Man, even in a win that finally snaps a losing streak, the Mets still look really bad at most aspects of the game. A genuinely mediocre team. Also, David Wright is pretty good at baseball… :)
