Remember the name Vicente Lupo, he put up monster numbers in the DSL, and I mean monster numbers. He won’t turn 19 until November. I’d expect him to be in Kingsport next summer, if not Brooklyn. He, Fulmer, and Harris are all guys to watch next year from this list (aside the obvious Harvey and Wheeler).

we just need a few monster position prospects at some point.

if they don’t have it, going to have to move some of this pitching to get it.

I’ll be keeping an eye out. I’m so hoping we’ve got some impact bats down in the lower minors so it appears we don’t have much in the upper.

Congrats to the list of young men here.
Looking forward to seeing you all up at Citi in a few years down the road. (Yes, I know we’ve already got Harvey up.)

Random: Yanks get screwed tying the game in the ninth on a blown call at first for the last out – sweeeetttt.

Also off topic I’m glad TRDM has discontinued the game recaps. Recapping these games is an unenviable task. I didn’t see the game (I very rarely watch the Mets these days) so I went to MMO to read the recap and it was written by someone that makes Ceetar appear to be a pessimist. It’s almost like saying well the house burned down but we saved the chimney.

Also off topic, they are remaking Red Dawn.

There is no way possible that this remake will come close to the original. I wish they wouldnt set them selves up for failure. Swayze, sheen, grey, C thomas Howell, Lea Thompson… Wolverines indeed.

And yes, I’ll still watch the remake.

I’m holding out for the remake of Road House so I can watch Patrick Swayze’s slow motion hair flip in Hi-Def or 3D.

It’s really sad that Hollywood is so vacant of any new or creative ideas that they need to retread Red Dawn or as I believe I heard Die Hard also is a candidate.
