This Week in Fantasy

Fantasy baseball can be one cruel bitch sometimes. Jose Valverde who hasn’t blown a save since July 14th, blew a save last night and as a result the “Pepsi Porch Tattooers” lost their match to “Team Snukes”. I am shocked that my team won. For the last 2 weeks every player in Pepsi’s (Ceetar) lineup scored big. It forced me to spam every pitcher as possible out of desperation. I literally was just throwing crap on the wall and hope that some of it stuck. Also, I am not too fond of my final point total. I swear I did not sell my soul for the win.

As for Team Real, he cruised to a easy victory.

So, this leads us to the final 2 weeks of the season and the last match-up for the season. The two teams with the best overall records are facing off in the final.  The match-up runs from today through 10/03. Good Luck!

Here’s some consolation boobs Ceetar:

Man, I am not sure I have the time or desire to participate in pitcher “spamming”. Hey considering where I came from and the run that it took to get here…

Cut Metsie out of your diet and you’ll free up about 3 hours a day.

Very true but how boring would it be to do that and instead focus on scrub pitchers that might be good for one night?

Sounds like a losers attitude to me. Maybe Bayonne and Alex are right.

Nah, just doesn’t seem fun to me. I realize it’s the nature of the game and I have had to do it as well but I think in the future maybe we need a limit to moves made in a week or something. It takes a lot of time to devote to finding that nights surprise pitcher.

This is why I have always been in favor at roster locking for the week. And frankly it probably takes less time to pull a list of who is pitching and add then then it does to read one of Metsie’s comments.

Click the players tab and then select the “probable starters” link and boom there they are. Plus if you pick wrong it is negative points, so there are definitely pros and cons to the philosophy.

Quitting in the last game is pretty weak. How about we make a pact. If you quit, then I will quit and we can throw the entire seasons effort down the toilet. Then you can assign this job to someone else that doesn’t give a shit to help push the site in this continued direction of going into the crapper.

Oh I am not quitting, however, I don’t expect to be able to make roster changes each day.

And yeah I know that feature but for me to make a move I take much more time than that to research the pitcher and his previous outings, who he is pitching against…. etc. Not just click.
