Came across this Top 10 2013 Mets Marketing Slogans from Michael Geus over at 2guystalkingmetsbaseball.com and thought it rather funny and creative. Below I listed number 10 through 7 and you can read the rest by clicking here.

New York Mets @Mets
RHP Frank Francisco underwent surgery today to remove a bone spur from his right elbow.

I saw that.
I assume he’ll be ready for opening day?
I remember the off season Johan had surgery to remove bone chips. If I remember correctly, he didn’t feel comfortable and/or wasn’t back to his normal self until heading into June.

Well, maybe FF’s bone spur is not the same as bone chips Johan had removed.

FF might be better if not himself.

spurs are worse I believe. They can big digging/ripping into the soft parts in there, causing more damage.
chips I think are more benign, unless they get stuck in a moving part?
I guess spurs are just chips to be after the break off!

maybe that explains part of his problem?
but I gotta ask, why wait 10 weeks after the season ended to have this done? Unless he had it done a while back, and it never got reported of course.

Originally Triple F thought he was just growing another arm.

Hey, thanks for the shout out for our “2 Guys” site. We’re sort of new in the neighborhood, and your kind words are akin to, oh, bringing over a bundt cake and best wishes.
Swing by anytime. We’ve been naming our own “2 Guys” All-Time Mets Team — not necessarily the best players, but the hard-nosed players, the rough and tumble guys. Later this week, we naming our third baseman (not a difficult choice, frankly). Hint: think Eric Davis.
Seriously, thanks Mr. North Jersey, I’ve been enjoying this blog for a while now. Glad to finally return the pleasure.

Just bookmarked your site and headed over there.
I like the format of ‘two guys talking Mets’.
