At this point in time, we are still 35 plus days away from Spring Training….which is like a lifetime. The Mets still need some pitching help and definitely an outfielder or three.
Which has nothing to do with today’s question.

After the Giants blew it, I don’t really care unless there is a team that I particularly can’t stand. Since the Cowboys and Eagle also missed the playoffs, I don’t.
I think I am rooting for the Colts, since in 7th grade my grandfather gave me a Colts jacket. Plus I like the rookie, and would love to see the matchup with Denver if it happens. And the Ravens are not a team that is easy to root for.
2nd game, tough call. I kind of like the Skins. I sort of have adopted Washington teams as my 2nd choice (‘if it can’t be the Mets”) since I wanted to move there years ago, and have family there.

basically, everyone is still guessing.
Not sure about lots, but they must have some, and I still don’t believe they are completely done with the OF. Or rotation. Pen? not sure there is anyone to actually spend on there, so that might be done!

hard to see what they are holding out for at this point. I don’t really consider hairston as anything more than a glorified and better paid filler piece.
unless, maybe they are making the big push for one of both of the Cubans? that may help this year, or may not, but it would certainly give a boost to the organization.
Hell, sign Alvarez, Grab Stuaffer. Some pen arm that might help, even if not an exotic name. And just get on with the damned season already!

Quick question.
Is it better to get a wort chiller with the hose connections or is a standard one fine enough?

Depends on what your system is like. If your cold water supply is coming from from an outside faucet that has a garden hose thread, that’s what you’ll need a connection for. If your water supply will be from a standard indoor faucet, forgo the hose connections and spend some time in a hardware store rigging up a connection to your faucet.
