Couldn’t hurt. And who knows. Taking 2 years off could have rested him up.

I sure as heck could use a couple years off to rest up!
and I like this signing. I want to see a lot of viable options in camp fighting to earn a job out of ST.

No problem here. And I find it hilarious that Perpetual Pedro elects to come back to the team that Brian Cashman accused of abusing him. Obviously, Pedro feels differently.

It is a business. Pedro looked at it as a team with a good chance of making the majors out of ST. that is way more important than any “ancient history”.
He never said he was abused. Pretty sure he knows what the role of a LOOGY is, and accepted the workload since the alternative was working some job that did not pay millions of dollars per year!

Interesting.
I’ve completely lost track of how many minor league contracts we’ve signed with an invite to ST. I just know it’s going to be crowded down there.

Like I have been saying, bring in as many guys as you can find, and let them fight it out in ST to see who wants the job the most.

Pedro came back because he knows that “quick trigger finger” Jerry is gone, so his arm is safe.
