Video: A Look Back At The 2012 Brooklyn Cyclones Season

The Brooklyn Cyclones have joined Tumblr to provide as they say “an inside look at the hardest working, best looking, and most dedicated front office in all of Minor League Baseball.” As they get ready to do that they added a nice music video that takes a look back at the 2012 season.

      Very cool video.

I’d love to catch a game or two there. Wonder if I could talk hubby into that, since I don’t drive that much anymore. :-)

I used to love to go to HS baseball games back in my teens and 20s. The competition was just as intense as if you were at a ML game.

    OT:

MLB sources say SportsNet New York brass has reached out to Valentine to discuss a possible studio role on Mets telecasts.

that could be fun. Or really annoying.

and just think of all the “when will he replace Terry” speculation that could lead to!

OT, but now Mets supposed to be kicking tires on Oswalt?

And, just for Knog, found this beauty from his buddy Baron:

“Maybe that was attributed to rust and a fluxuating role”

Wonder if that means he needed a new capacitor?

LOL! That thread, like most threads there these days, was nonstop hilarity.

I actually believe now that they do it on purpose, knowing that it will generate 2x the comments (if not more). And like they say, bad publicity is better than no publicity.

Memorabilia dealer wants the juice on former NY Mets first baseman Carlos Delgado

Sports memorabilia dealer Spencer Lader and other defendants want Jose Reyes to tell them under oath what he knows about Carlos Delgado’s relationship with controversial Toronto sports medicine doctor Anthony Galea, who pleaded guilty in July 2011 to transporting misbranded and unapproved drugs into the United States.

Somehow, this does not surprise me.
Don’t know what Reyes might know about it though that the other teammates on those ’06 -’08 teams don’t.
I can’t remember though if this Galea is the same doctor both Reyes and Beltran saw during the ’09 season when they were injured.

I think that was him. I don’t remember all the details but pretty sure they at least visited him, and had something done.
